Clean Up

On May 19, in connection with the “Nomadic Museum of Modern Art,” Multiarts will proceed down the boulevards of Moscow with our performance piece, “Clean Up.” We will be carrying a handcart with a large number of the wooden rakes that were originally used in Oleg Koshelets’s installation, “Neglected Russia” (2011). We will give them out to the citizens we meet along the caravan route, thereby removing these utilitarian objects from the environment of the exhibition and replacing them in the space of everyday life. Guests will convene at 20 Milutinsky Lane, at the entrance on Srentensky Boulevard (by the Metro stations Chistye Prudy, Turgenevskaya, and Sretensky Boulevard).

And on May 19 at 18.00, the “Nomadic Museum of Modern Art” will caravan along the Boulevard Ring on the Trubnaya Square side. We invite you and all of your friends to join us in our “stroll.”

For more information on Oleg Koshelets and “Neglected Russia,” please visit his site: http://www.olegkoshelets.com
